Summer Classes for the waltz and tango will take place on a weekly basis from Saturday 30 May to Saturday 4 July. The precise dates, all Saturdays, are:

May: 30

June: 6, 13, 20, 27,

July: 4

Place: St John's Hall, Torphichen.

Time: 2.30 to 4.30 pm with tea half-way

Charge: donation at door * (see below)

We will be aiming to learn a modern waltz and modern tango of a "beginner plus" / intermediate standard. Both dances will contain some figures and elements already known to regular club members. There will be more emphasis on learning the character of the dance.

In addition, Alan and Roberta Logan will be coming on at least one of the days to teach us the basics of the Charleston (one of the fore-runners of swing dance and quickstep).
