Born Nethermuir Cottage, by Bathgate 1895, son of William Liddell as above, who was described as a journeyman brick maker or tile maker originally from Muiravonside parish. As a child, lived in the Bowyett. Appears as Liddle in other official records. Resident of Bathgate. Brother of James and William.
